This is a sturdy tripod head from Gitzo. It is very high quality and is very useful for making adjustments while on a tripod. The top plate is able to swivel on a ball joint and the entire unit is on a swivel plate that turns 360 degrees.
This one is in excellent condition with light wear. The 1/4" screw has been replaced but it is strong and works well.
