Nikon FM-2N Chrome 35mm Camera w/ 24mm f2.8 AI Wide Angle Lens -New Light Seals-

Here is the FM-2n, the king of the 1970's compact SLRs. What makes this such an enduring classic? It looks great, works great and takes sixty years worth of Nikkor lenses. The camera works without batteries (only the meter uses batteries) and you get 1/4000s top shutter speed and 1/250s sync, very fast for a mechanical shutter (the 250s sync is what distinguishes this camera from the original FM-2). The camera has great controls, some of the easiest to use and intuitive that I have experienced.

 

This camera has the chrome finish, which I prefer. I like the classic look and it is much more resistant to wear than the black. This camera works perfectly and is in clean condition with light wear. There is a small dent on the bottom plate and another on top of the prism but they are minor and only cosmetic, they do not impact the function of the camera.

 

We have replaced the light seals (a $75 Value). The camera comes with a nice Nikon 24mm f2.8 AI wide angle lens. The lens has clean scratch-free glass and works perfectly.

 

The battery and lens cap are included.
