Nikon Micro-Nikkor 55mm F2.8 AI-S Macro Lens (Focus Stiff)

This is a classic Nikon lens that I think is undervalued. Compared to the newer Micro-Nikkors, it is much smaller, less expensive, easier to manually focus and has similar optical performance. I also think that it is a perfect macro length lens on a DX camera.

 

 

This lens has stiff focus. You can turn it but it requires a hard effort. Otherwise the lens is excellent. The glass is clean and scratch-free and the aperture is dry and snappy. The body is in good condition.
