This is a classic Nikon lens that I think is undervalued compared to the newer Micro-Nikkors. It is much smaller, less expensive, easier to manually focus and has similar optical performance. I also think that it is a perfect macro length lens on a DX camera. The lens is also smaller than the f2.8 version and may be sharper. It would be an excellent lens for scanning film with a mirrorless or DSLR setup.
It is in excellent condition with light wear and works perfectly. The glass is clean and scratch-free with no haze, fungus, nor other issues. The focus is smooth and the aperture is dry and snappy.
