This is an excellent all around zoom for film or digital. Note that the lens precedes having motors in the lenses so this will only auto-focus with a camera that has the motor built-in. Feel free to ask if you are not sure.
There is a chip on the front element that may soften image quality when shooting in harsh conditions (see photos).
Otherwise the lens is in good condition and works perfectly.
