Be aware that this lens uses the mechanical autofocus drive so it will only autofocus on bodies that have a focus motor.

 

This is a well made general purpose tele lens for all Nikon film and digital cameras with a motor in the body. It is a lot better made than the standard kit lenses in this price range.

 

This lens is in good condition with light wear except that there is a slight haze on an inner element. I can only see it with a flashlight but it may soften your images slightly when shooting in harsh conditions. Otherwise the glass is clean and scratch free with no fungus. The autofocus is accurate and there is no zoom creep in normal use.
