The AF is slower than the current lenses but if you can excuse that it is an excellent performer and MUCH less expensive.
If you are shooting weddings or portraits then you do not really need the speed so this lens is a great choice. I think that the image quality is arguably better than the newer versions.
Be aware that it uses the screw type AF drive and will only AF on cameras that have the motor in the body. Ask if you are not sure.
This lens is in good condition with light wear. There is a moderate amount of dust inside of the lens but it will not affect your images quality on a lens this long. Otherwise the glass is clean and scratch free with no haze or fungus. The autofocus is accurate. The mechanical action is all smooth and the aperture is dry and snappy. Everything works perfectly.
