The Pentax KX is a lot like the K1000, it is a high quality metal bodied SLR that feels great in the hand and can shoot fully mechanically in case your batteries fail. It has a great viewfinder that is very similar in its display to a Nikon FE.
This camera is in great shape cosmetically and works perfectly mechanically, but the light meter is not responding accurately to changes in light with fresh batteries.
Otherwise this camera is in excellent condition, the shutter is strong and accurate at all speeds and the light seals are good.
