A 124G like this one was my first medium format camera in college. I bought it at PC Brokers in Boulder. When I told the salesman that I wanted it he started to tell me that the camera had a sharper lens than a Hasselblad. Yeah right! Well, he was right. The lens on this thing is amazing. The pictures I took with my Yashicamat have an intensity that I have not seen with any other camera.
This camera in good condition with moderate cosmetic wear.
Everything works perfectly except that the light meter does not respond with fresh batteries.
The shutter is strong and accurate. The viewing lens has a series of fine marks but they are not visible while in use and do not affect the image quality. The taking lens is clean and scratch free with no haze or fungus. The vinyl is not curled.
Note that there is a small engraving from a previous owner on the bottom left side (see photos), however this is purely cosmetic and does not affect performance. Get a great medium format camera at a wonderful price!
