A 124G like this one was my first medium format camera in college. I bought it at PC Brokers in Boulder. When I told the salesman that I wanted it he started to tell me that the camera had a sharper lens than a Hasselblad. Yeah right! Well, he was right. The lens on this thing is amazing. The pictures I took with my Yashicamat have an intensity that I have not seen with any other camera.
This camera is in good contition with moderate wear and works perfectly. There is a name engraved on one side of the camera and a number on the other side (see photos). There was some battery corrosion which we cleaned that is still visible, however it does not affect the operation of the camera. The shutter is strong and accurate and the glass is clean and scratch-free. The body is in good condition and the vinyl is not curled. The meter is accurate. Our technician has replaced the light seals (a $75 value). The leather case is included, it shows some wear, and the hinge for the door is partially torn, but it is still functional with a lot of life left.
