I love the F. When the F originally came out it was a revelation in photography and quickly took over the 35mm professional world, unseating Leica and beginning the primacy of Japanese cameras. Technology may have overtaken the Nikon F, but this camera is still a great shooter and a living piece of history.
It is in good condition with moderate wear and works perfectly. Most F's were used hard by professionals, most show much more wear than this one does. There is a small dent near the advance lever and another on the bottom plate but they are minor and do not impact the function of the camera. There is also a small chip inside of the eye level finder but it is minor and on the edge of the glass, it does not get in the way of framing or focus. The shutter is strong and accurate at all speeds and the mechanical movements are smooth. The lens is clean and scratch-free with no haze, fungus, nor other issues. The focus is smooth and the aperture is dry and snappy. It shows some wear around the filter threading but it can easily accept 52mm filters.
