The A-1 was a very advanced camera in its day and pushed camera technology. It had the first full auto program mode and a highly accurate shutter. The camera also allows shutter or aperture priority and full manual modes.

It comes ready to shoot with the classic 50mm f1.8 FD lens.

It is in excellent condition with light wear and works perfectly. The shutter and meter are accurate and the mechanical functions are smooth. Our technician has replaced the light seals, a $75 value. The battery compartment is clean. The lens is clean and scratch free with no haze, fungus, nor other issues. The focus is smooth and the aperture is dry and snappy.
The lens cap, strap, and battery are included along with the thumbgrip, and often misplaced accessory.
