Here is the FM-2, the king of the 1970's compact SLRs. What makes this such an enduring classic? It looks great, works great and takes sixty years worth of Nikkor lenses. The camera works without batteries (only the meter uses batteries) and you get 1/4000s top shutter speed and 1/125s sync. The camera has great controls, some of the easiest and most intuitive to use that I have experienced.
This camera is in excellent working condition with little cosmetic wear. There is a small amount of corrosion on the hot shoe (see photos) however this is purely cosmetic and does not affect shoe function. The shutter is strong and accurate. The meter is accurate and the LEDs are operational. The lens glass is clean and scratch-free with an aperture that is dry and snappy. The focus is smooth.
A lens cap and a battery are included.
We have replaced the light seals (a $75 Value).
