Alpa 9d Camera w/ Macro-Switar 50mm F1.8 Lens -Rare Black- [EXC-]

This is one of about six hundred 9d cameras that Alpa made in the black finish. The camera is a beautiful piece of Swiss manufacturing and is one of the most solid feeling cameras that you will experience.

It has a lot of fun quirks, such as the backwards film advance lever, the very clever film rewind crank and the hyperfocal dots (which Thypoch recently copied). It has a bright focusing screen with a diagonal split prism. This is a very usable shooter.

The camera is in unusually good condition for an Alpa (we tend to see them used hard). The body shows light wear with no dents or serious defects. The speeds are all accurate and the mechanical action is smooth. The lens has clean scratch-free glass. The focus and aperture are smooth. The light meter is not working; that is the only defect (and par for these early CDS meters).

The camera comes with the original front cap and everready case.
