Early 1960/61 64xxx Nikon F w/ 50mm f1.4 Lens, Eye Level Finder -New Seals-
Here is a nice Nikon F with the cool eyelevel finder. It was one of the early professional Nikon models and is a rock solid camera.
This one is an early model with the serial number beginning in 64 and a hollow advance lever. It's rare to see an F this early in this clean condition.
The eye level finder makes the F system much smaller and easier to carry! I also think that it looks better on the camera than the standard metered prism.
It comes ready to shoot with the Nikkor-S Auto 50mm f1.4. Note that this camera takes non-AI lenses.
This camera is in excellent condition with light wear and works perfectly. Most F cameras were used hard by professional photographers and show much more wear and tear. Aside from a few scuffs on the baseplate, a tiny ding atop the prism, and a very small dent on the front of the top plate below the advance lever, this camera looks like it was used very lightly and everything works perfectly.
The shutter is strong and accurate at all speeds. The lens is clean and scratch free with no haze, fungus or other issues. The focus is smooth and the aperture is dry and snappy.
Our technichian has replaced the light seals, a $75 value. A lens cap is included.
