A special film dedicated to redscale enthusiasts, HARMAN Red 125 provides stunning detail in 120 medium format. This 120-format film offers a medium ISO speed of 125, a clear base, no anti-halation layer, and high red sensitivity for a near-perfect emulsion that ensures minimal speed loss.

Exposure

Overexposure will typically give finer grain and more dominant orange and red tones. Underexposure will show more greens, coarser grain, and prominent shadows.

Underexposure – Coarser grain, prominent shadows, and subtle greens.
Normal exposure – Normal grain, stronger orange tones, and softer shadows.
Overexposure – Finer grain, higher contrast, and dominant red/orange tonalities.

Scanning

Harman Red should be processed in C41/CN16 processing chemicals. No processing adjustment is required for bracketed exposures.

Unlike standard color films, the emulsion layer on redscale films is on the reverse. Therefore, for best results, when the orientation of the emulsion can be easily reversed by using a reloadable cartridge if necessary.
Can be easily scanned on a range of commercial scanners.
During the scanning process digital image correction and enhancement can be used to remove dust and scratches automatically from the image.
