Leica M4 Classic Chrome 35mm Rangefinder Camera Body -YYE CLA- [EXC-]

Here is a wonderful Leica M4 body in chrome. If you can live without a meter then this is the M body to get, in my opinion. Why?

It is more economical than the M6 and M7, has everything that you need, and is better looking. I love the look of this camera, especially the Leitz engraving on the top. This camera has framelines for the 35mm, 50mm, 90mm, 135mm lines. All in all it adds up to a very useful rangefinder system.

Compared to the earlier cameras, it has easier loading and rewinding along with 35mm frame lines, all important features.

This one just came back from a CLA at YYE Camera. It is in excellent- condition with light cosmetic wear and works perfectly. There is some coating wear on the inside of the viewfinder window. I almost missed it, you have to catch the light at the right angle. You can not see it while looking through the finder and it does not affect the function of the viewfinder or rangefinder. The shutter is strong and accurate at all speeds. The rangefinder is accurate, bright and contrasty. The mechanical functions are smooth.
